«The song also fought." Dedicated to the Great Victory This warrior had no weapons, but in terms of his strength he was a huge army. The fusion of piercing, true words and melodies warmed the hearts of the soldiers, inspired, filled them with determination and firm faith: we will win! This power is in each of the compositions performed by the Academic Student Choir "Gaudeamus" named after N. G. Litvintseva. In the assembly hall of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy, a concert "The Song Also fought", dedicated to the Great Victory, was held.
- On the eve of the Great Victory Day, the Gaudeamus choir reminds us in the language of the song that we cannot be forgotten. Today, there are many who seek to rewrite history, but we are obliged to resist this. You need to tell the truth: how it really was. You need to remember. After all, a people deprived of memory is also deprived of a future," the acting director emphasized. Rector of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy Natalia Laryova.
She thanked the choir director and conductor Tatyana Klepikova, accompanist Irina Sychugova, presenter, screenwriter of the event Tatyana Naumkina and, of course, the choir artists for their loyalty to the traditions of the academy and the bright creativity of the choir. "Katyusha", "When we were at war"; "Soldier", "Let's bow to the great years", a potpourri of military songs and many other compositions sounded like a confession filled with grateful memory of the exploits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. And the choir also sang about what helped our grandfathers and great-grandfathers to survive, what gives strength to the defenders of the Fatherland of our days: about faith, friendship, love. From the front roads - to the cherished May day. "Victory Day" was sung together: both the choir and the audience. This great day, these songs that also fought, are in us, with us. And this is sacred, forever.
