Future doctors from the Chita Medical College plunged into the real medical reality within the walls of our academy. The children not only saw how higher medical education works, but also tried something from the arsenal of practicing doctors with their own hands.
The start of the route is the museum complex of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy: students visited the museums of anatomy, pathological anatomy, biology, history of the university and appreciated the interactive anatomical table "Pirogov" (3D guide to the body).
Then there was the Accreditation and Simulation Center: on simulators under the guidance of mentors, manipulations (from first aid to resuscitation) were worked out without risk, of course, for conditional patients.
All this is part of a larger plan: a regional medical educational cluster is operating in Transbaikalia (with the support of the Ministry of Health of the region). In it, Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy, four medical colleges and key medical institutions of the region go hand in hand. And excursions provide an opportunity for potential students of Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy to feel the atmosphere of the university, try on their future profession and make an informed decision about their career path. For the educational cluster, this is a way to tie together all levels of training: college, university, practice - so that strong, confident and ready for work doctors grow up in Transbaikalia.
